Pretty highly announced and long awaited. Five years from their last full length...i mean FIVE years! Cause Planets Of Old (2009 ep) was too short and actually left me in need of something more.
I won't waste time telling you who Cave In is, you MUST know it. And anyway, this is their blabla full length album, but still, the ep's or so called ep's have a great meaning in their discography, which i could find the will to post someday soon or later.
Anyway, this record is actually some sorta masterpiece and i'll easily file it in the best-of-2011 list, probably 1st place (the competition is tough though, as the new Fucked Up should be awesome too and Young Widows put out their best stuff so far). I'm not really super partes as i'm a great fan, but who cares.
9 songs and not a single one is boring or sorta, such a various songwriting that makes the record flow so easily. I could even recognize the different authors of each song, as there are some mellow moments which could have been on a Steve Brodsky album.
But all said and done you just have to love it and then buy it.
