Fucked Up - David Comes To Life (2011)

Another long awaited album which is in competition for "Best of 2011". Damn, it's really too tough to choose, but well, i still have 7 months to decide.
Anyway, this a huuuuge rock opera, another masterpiece, the hardcore punk version of Quadrophenia, the fast-paced version of Tommy, the whatever version of whatever. 18 (EIGHTEEN!!) tracks telling the sad story of David, falling in and out of love. I mean, sad enough to make anyone weep. But still, this record is EPIC, maybe too epic, so epic that it might be the soundtrack for dunno, the Champions League final. Even if Fucked Up is no longer the punk version of Oasis (well, let's say it, The Chemistry Of Common Life had some really Oasis-alike riffs), but maybe even more epic: my brother said that now they sound more like the punk version of Cast, but damn, that's not true, i mean, i'm one of the few lads who ACTUALLY liked Cast (come on, i was 13!), but still i guess that such a comparison is not really erhmm...positive. But well, i can hear some Jam influence here and there, cool!

Unfortunately, i had to upload it in two parts, cause i still think it's kinda foolish to pay mediafire to get a premium account.
So here you can try it (no you can't) and here you should buy it.
