Fall Of Efrafa Discography

Looks like i'm carrying it on just to post stuff on demand, this took actually TOO long, but here is as requested by someone: FULL FOE DISCOGRAPHY!
Anyway, useless to say, great blackened crust or-whatever-you-want-to-call-it hardcore, getting way slower with the passing of releases.
Ah and...yes, the name is taken from Watership Down...

Stove Bredsky - The Black Ribbon Award

Starting the new year with an old record, how un-hypy! I don't even know exactly WHEN this was released, but who cares. This is one of the many solo releases by Stephen Brodsky, of Cave In's fame, but as he's totally not an average everyday normal guy, he changed his name to Stove Bredsky, just to drive us (the faithfull fans) completely mad.

As his other solo records, this is still psychedelic, acid driven pop, but less acoustic oriented. Unfortunately, this record doesn't contain "Lima Bean" which is probably Steve's best song ever (btw, if ANYONE has it on mp3, i'd pay in hummous for years!), but still, it has some sweet sweet hits you won't forget for ages.

Definitely, give it a try, but i actually have no clue about where you could buy it.

David Sandström - Om det inte händer nåt innan imorgon så kommer jag

For anybody who doesn't know (and actually there's A LOT of people who don't know), David Sandström was the drummer of one of the best and best known hardcore bands: they were called REFUSED (ringing bell!).

But this record has nothing to do with them. Well, you might hear some of the progressive influences that you could find on "The Shape Of Punk To Come", but THIS is just rock, and of a classic kind, with some sorta "themes" reccourring frmo time to time during the whole record. I don't bother listing any possible reference cause it's TOTALLY useless, just download it as you're doing no wrong to David and his label, cause this record is long sold out.

Aaaand... whoa! it's sung in Swedish!

Download here: go to the "musik" link and there you find it all. Check out the rest of the site, it's cool!

Escape To Sea - Young Blood 2010

Well, i don't know whether it's fine or not to post things "on demand" by friends, but here it is.

I guess there's somebody who thinks that ANYTHING coming outta brighton is actually hype. Well, these lads seem to be good friends with all the lads in the Brighton hardcore scene (yeah, that band that starts with "Dead" and ends with "Swans"). But they have NOTHING (caps lock is fun tonight, huh!) to do with hardcore, actually. This is a four song EP, full of melody, some melancholy (a lot of) and, i'd say, the right things to be the next big thing. And actually it's the kind of record that would please anyone who wants some good melody that wouldn't be out of place on the radio, but actually KNOWS that all fm rock totally sucks!

Anyway, try and then buy

Gifts From Enola - Self Titled

This came out in a small web talk just a few minutes ago, so it popped into my mind to post it.

Very good and kinda original almost instrumental post-rock-whatever from Virginia. Just five songs, but HUH! really doing the trick!

Yeah, it could be nothing you haven't already heard, but they add sometihng personal on this record and it actually sounds different from all the Isis-alike offsprings that came out like mushrooms in the latest years.

Try or buy

Das Racist - Shut up, dude!

You been warned about eclecticism! My girlfriend is gonna hate me for posting this, but this is actually one of the heavy rotations of the moment. And moreover it's totally crazy stuff!

This is old school east coast rap, made by an indian dude and a mexican one. Dunken stile rapping and lyrics dealing with food, weed and beer and a shitload of nonsense.
And yeah, very politically UNcorrect, so shut your mouth all you pc fuckers, already scared by such a band name.

Try (this link ACTUALLY works!) or go to their site

Kvelertak - Self Titled 2010

Way too easy start. This is THE record of 2010 for someone. I'd say it's in the top 5, surely THE metal record of the year.

Too easy to describe as well: think Turbonegro covering Darkthrone, all sung in norwegian. But don't expect that many blastbeats or fuzzy guitars, as it's more on the Turbonegro side...and that's why i herd some say that this record is too "happy". Probably it is, but it's still something that would scare shit off your grandma and make your catholic brother throw holy water at you.

Plus, they're a live monster (3 guitars, whoa!)

AND, there's the supa-fuckin-cool John Baizley artwork.

Try or Buy

(buy, as i know the guitar player...)
